What’s New at Reliable Plant 2017
In addition to expanding last year’s popular certificate programs from 2 to 4 options, we’ve also added brand new events and opportunities. Below are some of the highlights.
Access to PMTS 2017
Reliable Plant 2017 attendee registration also includes access to the exhibit floor of the Precision Machining Technology Show (PMTS). An international gathering of manufacturing professionals who are moving the industry forward, PMTS features more than 280 exhibitors displaying equipment, products and services to more than 6,000 attendees.
The show is presented by the Precision Machined Products Association and co-presented by Production Machining and Modern Machine Shop. It addresses product technology, process innovation and business development in the precision machined parts industry.
The biennial event was founded in 2001 and includes an exhibit hall, machining demonstrations, knowledge centers and classroom-style technical sessions. In 2014, PMTS was named a “Fastest 50” event by Tradeshow Executive.
Second Keynote Address
Why Inspection 2.0 Is Your Best Strategy for Detecting Machine Faults
Tuesday, April 25 | 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Jim Fitch, Noria Corporation
Jim Fitch will explain the radical reinvention of machine inspections. With Inspection 2.0, you don’t just “look” at a bearing, seal, coupling or pump. Instead, you “examine” these components with a keen and probing eye. Inspection 2.0 is intense and purposeful. It seeks to penetrate and extract information from what’s been referred to as machine sign language. Attendees will learn how to translate this sign language into prescribed activities and instructions that stabilize reliability as well as how to adopt Inspection 2.0 to bring powerful capabilities to their organization.
Journey to Reliability
